Look in `Other Brews`. `Cheap and Tasty Raspberryade` is a good place!
Your TC might be bland. Mix it up with another Juice!
Look at `Oldblokes` post on here......

Oh! My Mango TC took 2nd place in the National Homebrew Festival! Just saying!

Re: My first attempt at Turbo Cider
Cheers WA just playing it safe to start with . Wanted to try a quick and easy effort just to get an idea of what the end product turns out like . Once I'm happy enough with a base recipe then I'll start experimenting . Mango does sound very tasty and refreshingWalesAles wrote: Nos,

Hopped ciders are usually done as a late addition, for flavour rather than bittering. But it might be wonderful, straight shop AJ needs some help

Re: My first attempt at Turbo Cider
Cheers old bloke , a 10 min hop tea shouldn't do much in the way of bittering hopefully I'll just get a little citrussy hint from the cascade hops .oldbloke wrote:Hopped ciders are usually done as a late addition, for flavour rather than bittering. Re: My first attempt at Turbo Cider
Really happy with the result. It finished out at 1,002 so approx 6.4 % and at the drier end of medium dry .As WA predicted tastewise it's nowt exciting but it's definitely cider it's got a nice sharpness , has cleared nicely and the carbonated version is very refreshing . It'll make an ideal platform to work up from for future efforts . I reckon the first variation will be a few more hops and some ginger .

#2 as above 7l batch this time but with a mix of Tesco & Iceland juice , a big lump of fresh ginger and an unknown amount of hops that were left over approx 15g .

Re: My first attempt at Turbo Cider
I can recommend Lowitcz Rasberry Syrup from the International Isle of Tescos as a flavour for Cider, it improves the cider no end!

Nos,
Glad you are enjoying your TC!
That Raspberry Syrup is awesome!
As I said before, there are good things on the `Other Brews` thread. Lots of stuff about the Polish Syrup.
Always my `Go back to` brew. Very Tasty.
It`s Bloody Lovely Mun!
Read the thread because you can get from 5% to 9% just by adding the Syrup!
