Hi there, new to homebrew, well, made a few brew in the bag kits but would really like to try my hand at cider, ideally a fruit cider and ideally carbonated.
anyone able to point me in the right direction?
can I do this with brew in the bag but get myself a corny keg and some C02?
easy carbonated cider for a noobie?

I'd forget brew in a bag and get a fermenting bucket, once you have this there's loads of fruit cider kits.
You could get a corny and force carbonate but this is investing quite a lot when you have no other kit. I'd just get a crown capper, a siphon tube, a bttling wand, start collecting bottles and bottle with a bit of priming sugar in each bottle and carbonate naturally.

yeah think you're right.
seen some decent kits that I could have a bash at and the idea of bottling does seem alot easier given I already have a spare fridge.

so what's the deal with TC? Is it still alcoholic?
how turbo are we talking? days/weeks/months?
does it need to mature?
should I be looking to buy DJ instead of fermenting barrels etc?
questions questions questions.

DJ is only a gallon, handy for a quick experiment, but not as much use as a standard 40 pint bucket

that works for me, reading some of the TC threads I could probably make a bit of a rolling stock to test flavours etc. Then use 40 pinters for something a bit more long term
