Dilute Juice
Can dilute Juice be used to make turbo cider?
Re: Dilute Juice
Do you mean dilute juice as in watered down apple juice, or as in juice you add water too.... ie squash?
I once mistakenly bought 50% apple juice drink and didn't realise until I tried the first one, it was a little weak but was ok.
As for using squash, I make fruity TC's for the missus and daughter using a bottle of No added sugar fruit squash added to the apple juice.

Re: Dilute Juice
I mean, making diluted juice as I like I and then turning it into cider.
Re: Dilute Juice
Blimey you are not making this easy!
Making dilute juice to taste?
Do you mean apple juice, or squash?
You don't want diluted apple juice, and if using squash it gets diluted by the apple juice.

Here are my standard recipes,
first one using NAS squash and Lowicz Polish fruit syrup.
Sweet n fruity TC for the ladies(and the odd bloke)
3L apple juice (Tesco value)
1L Robinson's strawberry and Kiwi barley fruit squash
1 tsp yeast nutrient
1 tsp pectolase
water to shoulder of DJ
Cider yeast
3L apple juice (Tesco value)
1/2 of a 440ml bottle of Lowicz raspberry syrup
1/2 of a 440ml bottle of Lowicz strawberry syrup
1 tsp yeast nutrient
1 tsp pectolase
water to shoulder of DJ
Cider yeast
These two, one with Robinson's strawberry and Kiwi barley fruit squash and one with Lowicz raspberry, when they are finished fermenting I combine them together before priming and bottling to end up with a nice sweet n fruity raspberry, strawberry and Kiwi cider.
And for myself
Straight plain apple TC
6L of apple juice (Tesco value)
1tsp pectolase
1 tsp yeast nutrient
water to 8L
Cider yeast
Some folks also add a mug of strong tea for tannin by I don't bother, likewise some add glycerin, I don't bother.
