Substitute cider in recipe
Last night my wife substituted some of my hard cider instead of the normal cheap wine in a chicken scarpariella recipe. It was WAY better.
I'm just here for the beer.

I am a qualified winemaker.
I have seen the list of permissable additives for commercial wine, so I am not at all surprised.
Just goggled the recipe.. Sounds v nice.
Might have a go..

I just capped a 1.25 gallon batch of this for my wife to use exclusively in recipes. 12 bottles for cooking and two for drinking.
I'm just here for the beer.

My wife used some in the turkey gravy yesterday and it turned out great.

Cider is of course standard for some pork recipes.
