Old mead

Post by Rookie » Thu Jan 24, 2019 12:02 am

I have one bottle left of an 18% cherry mead that I brewed 17 years ago. 😢
I'm just here for the beer.

They are both in 25 ounce bottles and when I do get to drinking them it won't be both at the same time. I may have to spread each one out over two nights.
I'm just here for the beer.

There will be, but I kind of hate drinking the last bottle of either one especially since I've held out all this time.

Details, man!
(If you can still make sense after 18% )

Excellent. Still a good cherry flavor. And the honey variety is quite apparent. And, surprisingly, a very slight hint of carbonation.
I'm just here for the beer.
