Increase in O G by adding raspberries
My hydromel went from 1.040 to 1.003. How much would 1.5 lbs (.67 kg) added to 2 gallons (7.57 L) increase the O G?
I'm just here for the beer.

Re: Increase in O G by adding raspberries
Raspberries have 4.4g to 5.4g sugar in 100g of fruit, according to Google. So 670 g will have about 35g of sugar.
35g of sugar in 7.57 litres would give a specific gravity of 1.0018. Google, again.
So, adding your raspberries would have a minimal effect on the OG, perhaps increasing it by .002 if you're lucky. But would probably have a huge effect on the flavour.

In the morning before I added the raspberries the airlock was burping every 57 seconds. That evening it was every 25 seconds and the must was a nice reddish color.
