norms almanac Shefford Wheat Beer

Post by landy813 » Sat Dec 08, 2007 11:36 pm

As this micro brewery is local i thought this would be a fitting first for my first try at all grain. As the yeast is not specified in the almanac recipe i thought i woud ask them what they use and the reply is below.
right oh then, we use at the moment Pearl Pale malt, from
Fawcetts in Castleford) and wheat malt with cascade and or mount hood
hops (whichever takes our fancy at the time) the yeast is the same yeast
we use for our normal brews, if you want some just give me a bell
(01462818080) and arrange a time and pop in and pick some up

Hope this info is of use to someone else even though they dont give much away.

Now i need to learn what to do with the yeast they give me and how to look after it.
