A Quickie Exe Valley Bitter clone

A recipe that can get a brew on the go in the hurry and produce a good result is an alternate version from Wheeler / Protz, "Brew your own Real Ale at Home"...

3,250 grammes, medium coulored, non-Diastatic malt extract.
230g Roasted Barley

Add to 4 gallons of water at about 40 degrees C and mix thoroughly.

Bring to the boil and add 100g of Fuggles Hops.

Boil for 90-120 mins adding a further 15g of hops for the last 15 mins of the boil.

Cool the wort to room temperature. Give it a good stir with a large, sterile spoon and add your yeast. Put in a nice warm spot and...
