Archers Golden (revisited)

This was the brew that burnt my foot. It subsequently got 'stuck' before an infection turned it sour (the fermentation, not the foot) . All 23l down the sink. Anyhow, going to have another bash at some stage this week. I've tinkered with the recipe using different malts as I believe that Archers use a blend of pale malts in this one. As Halcyon appears in many of their other brews, it seemed the obvious choice to add to the MO I've already got in.

3kg Halcyon
3kg Marris Otter
Mash: 75min @ 66deg
Boil: 90min
24g Progress (8.3%) 90 mins
15g Whitbread Goldings (7.2%) 90 mins
15g East Kent Goldings 15 mins
Whirlifloc 10 mins

Aiming for 23L @ 1054og
36 IBU

I'm undecided on the yeast. I've got S-04 as the safe option but, I'm dying to give some Windsor yeast a go, so might end up using that. I understand it only provides moderate attenuation which is why I've increased my grain bill from the original 5.2kg to offset the probable high final gravity.

Working on 67% efficiency (i'm not going to over sparge this one) Beersmith reckons this will come out at 4.7% with the Windsor which will be ideal. I'm hoping for a nice golden ale with a bit of body to it.
