TOUCHDOWN Pilsner

Post by babalu87 » Tue Sep 16, 2008 12:31 pm

May/may not be many American football fans here.

Originally named it 60-60 Pils (for the OG and IBU's) but after looking at the hop schedule it reminded me of an announcer calling a touchdown run

Mt Hoods at the 30, the 20 the 15 the 10 the 5 TOUCHDOWN (Dry)

The smells coming from the air-lock are mesmerizing 8)

I have a pic from the end of the boil. I'll post tonight.

Mt Hood is supposed to be a good sub for Noble hops and I had a good first year crop from my bines so I figured using oodles of them in a Pils would be a good barometer of what to expect for flavor/aroma.

Its still in primary but I'll keep you fellas updated
