Golden Bitter

This is next. Cask, with air addition before it hits the engine. I will probably just vent corny to atmosphere and pull two pints off, two days before serving.

4.08kg Munton's British Organic Pale Ale Barley
.227kg 20L Crystal Malt
22.18g Target 9% AA @ 45 min.
30g EKG 5.5% AA @ 15 min.
15g EKG cool wort whirlpool
15g Target cool wort whirlpool
Safale-04
Burtonized local spring water


S.G. 1.043 F.G. 1.010

What's the story on your pale malt - never heard of that stuff before?

Yeah, it'll be gone on New Years Eve.

Here's the info on the Munton's. I've only used it twice. It's very nice.

I wish barley growers wouldn't bother with organics. Surely it means lower yields and pushing up the price for barley in general? I'm going to do my part by not buying organic so that more fields aren't turned over to it. The beer sounds good though :D
