I have a pack of Centennial hops and wanted to give them a try in a simple pale(ish) ale
This was the plan :
23l
4000g MO
250g Crystal Malt
25g Centennial (11.7%AA) 90 mins
25g Challenger (7.5%AA) 90 mins
15g Centennial 10 mins
Any thoughts on this recipe or suggestions for the hops / volumes ?

Re: Simple Centennial Recipe
Not tried them with Challenger, but i don't see why not. They work very well with Cascade or Amarillo, i can vouch for that.

Re: Simple Centennial Recipe
Looks nice. I might bump up the last addition to 25 gms but I love the flavor and aroma of these hops -- I'm in the middle of brewing a Centennial IPA right this moment. I also love to dry hop with Centennials so you might do that or throw some in at flameout.
