Hello,

Have taken this recipe from another forum and since I've got a load of US hops am gonna try this US amber soon. I've subbed the Challenger in for the magnum I don't have. Anyone got experience of this brew or US ambers more generally?

Ingredients
23L @ 75% efficiency, 90min mash, 90min boil, liquor - general purpose

0.88 kg Carared (39.4 EBC) Grain 14.00 %
0.22 kg Melanoiden Malt (39.4 EBC) Grain 3.50 %
16.00 gm Amarillo Gold [8.00 %] (90 min) Hops 12.1 IBU
13.00 gm Challenger [6.40 %] (90 min) Hops 7.9 IBU
29.00 gm Cascade [7.20 %] (90 min) (First Wort Hop) Hops 21.8 IBU
