Wrexham Lager Recipe?

Post by Cheshire-cheese » Thu Jul 02, 2009 7:36 am

I've only just read about Wrexham Lager and its history. It'd be nice to breathe some life into one of the first Lagers ever brewed in Blighty. Does anyone know what the original recipe was?

If the original recipe is unavailable and you were to design Wrexham Lager from scratch, what sort of Lager would you make?

I'd toy with the idea of introducing a smoky element to the flavour in a controlled way, not by burning the mash on the element as I previously did

Would you introduce some smoked malt or a small amount of a roasted malt?
