Ok after much debate about what hops are in this beer, i now have it on good authority that
Golden Pippin is brewed with Cascade only, i can`t reveil my source as he said he would be in big
trouble if they found out, but he asures me that, like Martial Ant first stated that this is a single
malt single hop brew, he wouldn`t go as far as to give me a hop schedule but he did say that
they bung loads in the last 5 mins to give it lots of flavour, he wouldn`t give me the IBU`s either
but just said that its about average ???? so i`m guessing around the 30 ish mark.
So some of us have been brewing it very close to the original anyway, but the last one i did
the IBU`s were 33 and it just tasted a bit sharp so i`ll drop them to around 28 next time and
see what the differance is.
Hope this helps anyone else trying to brew a clone of this beer.

I've never tried this but have tried Marks (Hazz66) attempt at it and it's very nice.

Will be doing this for No 11 using US05, NZ Cascade & MO and will grab a few bottles from Skipton when I'm next up to compare.

I'd be more interested in their Challenger IPA... if anyone has any info on a recipe?!

The bottled version tastes quite a bit different from the cask version.

Yeah i agree the bottled version is better than the cask, tends to be a bit less tastier
on tap, but the bottled one is ace.
