Hook Norton Haymaker?

Post by craigmarshall » Fri Aug 14, 2009 9:45 pm

Anyone got a recipe for this beer please? Or an approximation - here are my notes:

Lacy white foamy head, citrussy flavour, some bitter finish but not over the top. Quite a clean refreshing citrus smell, some vanilla and honey? Something spicy too - cinnamon or clove. Tastes lovely, very malty. Some spice flavour. Some vanilla. Very velvety and moreish, something to get your teeth into.

5.0% abv, dark gold colour, the label says it uses some wheat and some goldings hops.

Any ideas please :?:

Cheers,
Craig

This is from their site

Haymaker is brewed with a fine blend of Maris Otter Pale Ale and Cara malts and a mouth watering mix of Fuggles, Goldings and Challenger hops. “When poured it has a tantalising effervescence and a wonderful taste.

It will be the Challenger that give it that spicey taste as i tend to find them a bit peppery.

Most of us are here to escape the everyday use these damn newfangled kontraptions!!

Norton is supposed to stop keyloggers, what do you want one for anyway, checking up on the kids nocturnal activities??
If you really need to do this sort of thing, get a serious security device, Cisco, Watchguard, Smoothwall, Untangle - something which will run separate firewall, virus, spam etc.
