Youngs winter warmer

Post by Deebee » Sat Dec 26, 2009 10:34 am

This brings back memories from a christmas some years ago.
Anyone have any idea of a recipe for it. I know it has an abv of around 5.5 and is a ruby red colour but that all. I an guessing pale maybe amber, crystal and possibly black malt.
Any ideas of an actual recipe?

Looks as though it might be an interesting one to brew, although I don't know if I could handle 5 gallons of it. I have never used lactic inoculated malt before, I am wondering how much of a tang it gives?

Cheers

Thanks very much.
Looking at the 3 suppliers of malt here in norway i don't see enzymic malt at all. Anyone know where i can get it? Or anyone who has a spare 140 g i can buy. I would love to have a go at this. Winter lasts til april at least here:-)
