Cool, you'll be here just at the shitty part of the year-end of winter but not quite spring. When i say shitty i mean shitty for NZ. There is still loads of sunny days with clear blue skies but the temp will be a chilly 10 or 12C. Brr-you might have to wear a fleece!!!

Had a good feed of mussells tonight. Went well with the snapper we caught yesterday. So overall it's a bit normal.

You'll love it here. Just don't expect it to be like UK. You can say hello to people in the street here and get a reasonable response. :D

I enjoy the Golden Champion but the FF is quite bland. If this beer was a colour it would be beige.

I haven't brewed that recipe yet but I've been wondering about it. I reckon S-04 would need to be fermented on the high side as this beer is all about the fruity nose, IMHO (albeit that the rest of it is pretty bland).

Had another bottle of this from tescos and it was fab yet again. A perfect start to a 2 bottle night, the second bottle being Marstons Old Empire. Cant wait to get me brewery back from my place in France, not brewing me own is killing me!

Badger were very good at replying to me when i asked for another of their recipes.

He didn't tell me the exact amounts but did say which grains and hops were used, and in which order.

Could be worth emailing them and asking, even if just to see how close you were!
