Alpine IPA

Post by bujjiammulu » Fri May 14, 2010 7:10 pm

Description:
I tried to make a relatively inexpensive IPA. While you must spend money on hops, save some by using corn sugar. Had to go with DME to get a lighter color.
Ingredients:

* 3 # extra pale DME
* 3 # pale LME
* 2 # corn sugar
* 2 oz simcoe 10 min.
* 2 oz sterling 10min.
* 1 oz simcoe dry hop
* 1 oz sterling dry hop
* I package safale t-58

Primary Ferment: 7 days
Secondary Ferment: 20 days
Procedure:
boil water.
add LME and DME.
wait 50 min.
add 2oz simcoe.
add 2oz sterlling.
wait 10 min.
cool, pitch, primary, rack (add 1oz simcoe and 1oz sterling), secondary, bottle, enjoy.

Looks like a good beer but can I just ask why on earth you are posting commercial links at the bottom of your post?
