Good luck with that but (not to sound negative or anything) I think you'll find they're attracted to sweet smelling food stuffs (like wort) far more than the light in those zappers. Our last house backed onto an old damp bit of woodland and in summer we were always invaded by the little buggers. I bought 2 of those fly zappers but the flies would just go straight passed them to any type of food or drink especially sweet things. Maybe you'll have better luck. There are alternatives though, traps, sticky tapes etc.

Hope you sort it anyway :)

I wouldn't worry too much... Do what you can to keep them out, maybe zappers will work maybe they wont...

I often find tiny black flies in the airlock when making wine or beer... I use sealed fermenters so are not too concerned
Obviously I make sure there aren't any about come brew day or bottling time :)

All the best!
