Like the look of the 1st one phil. How did the challenger and saaz go together?

Aup Neil, both are still fermenting - I had to put the heater on - it's that cold in the garage.
All of the taste tests so far have been good #1 is getting bottled tomorrow i'll save a couple for you to try.
I liked the look of Harviestoun Ptarmigan from the GW book. Challenger is probably my favourite hop and I'm trying to use the 5Kg+ Amber - has a very nice background taste in low quantities.
Looking forward to these - first time not using dried yeast.

#1 listed above is turning out to be a bit of a corker - will definately be doing that one again soon, leedsbrew let me know when your about and I'll get some to you.
