Greatly borrowed from a few posts on here I have come up with the following for a summer ale:
Expected OG: 1.045 SG
Expected FG: 1.010 SG
Expected ABV: 4.6 %
Expected IBU (using Tinseth): 31.1 IBU
Expected Color (using Morey): 8.2 EBC
Pale Ale MO 4.000 kg 95.2%
Carapils Malt 0.200 kg 4.8%
Challenger 8.5 % 10 g 10.3 Loose Whole Hops 90 Min From End
Cascade 5.5 % 30 g 14.4 Loose Whole Hops 30 Min From End
Bobek 4.0 % 20 g 7.0 Loose Whole Hops 30 Min From End
Cascade 5.5 % 20 g 0.0 Loose Whole Hops At turn off
Bobek 4.0 % 20 g 0.0 Loose Whole Hops At turn off
Any thoughts?

Re: Light hoppy ale recipe advise
For my own personal taste I would say ditch the Bobek and just up the amount of Cascade.
I buy from The Malt Miller

I've never used bobek, but have recently had a pale ale from a local brewpub that came in at 4 1/2% and 32 IBUs from cascades that was pretty good. They used centennial to bitter, but challenger and cascades should go good together.
Which yeast are you going to use?
I'm just here for the beer.
