I did a raspberry porter last year, and very nice it was too. Needed a few months to blend in nicely, so I'd say wait till Christmas for it to peak. About 300g for 5 litres added after a week of fermentation then left for about 3 weeks. Freeze them, then let them thaw or they'll drop the temperature and stop fermentation
