hi all
a good friend of mine is getting wed later on this year, so i've decided to brew a brew as my wedding gift.
so i need advice, suggestions and any heel, greatly appreciated.
i was thinking a dark brew not to hoppy, english hops fuggle/golding but it needs something to set it apart.
i've some vanilla pods left over from a stout? candid peel?
your thoughts please
thanks neil

Re: wedding ale
Something different, what about a honeymoon mead.
Re: wedding ale
I'd do two or three different brews to account for a few tastes.
A dark brew such as hobgoblin or old peculier; a blonde, maybe with north american hops; and a session beer; plus a lager too if you've got a decent recipe.
It's a wedding gift after all, you could brew three nice batches for less than £50
