I think I must have had a really bitter beer before this one last time I tried it. Its actually nicely flavoured, having had another go at it today. There is definite spicing but it works. And it will only get better....

This one has now reached its best. It is simply delightful. 3 and a half months in bottle. Just shows what patience can do for you. Spices and orange bitterness have muted and the malt is really coming through now. Trouble is there is only about ten bottles left! Grrrrrr!

Get another batch on then, imagine how good it'll be by Christmas!
(bet it still would'nt last til then!)
