I had some Abingdon Bridge the other week from the Loose Cannon Brewery in Abingdon and its a bitter with Amariillo hops in it. Its not a hop bomb but the restrained use of the amarillo gave it a great flavour. The IBU value is probably what you are aiming for so I would use just the amarillo with a 60 min addition for bittering and then 10 and 0 mins for flavour without going OTT.

The hop schedule looks good. The EBU value that you have there seemed a bit low and when I bunged your recipe into Beer Engine it came to 45 EBU. Have you calculated for a low hop utilisation rate?

That would have been my second option for the hops - nice one!
Have a good brew night!
Cheers!

The settings on Beer Engine on my laptop have the hop utilisation at 39.75%. If you used different software or calculated on paper using a lower utilisation rate then that would explain why you have 28 EBU and I have 45 EBU using the info for your recipe ingredients.

I would say your fuggles would be around alpha acid: 3.8-5.5%

No. The higher the O G the lower the hop utilisation, the lower the O G the higher the hop utilisation.
I'm just here for the beer.
