want to use up my hops columbus and chinook.

hi. i want to make a really hoppy beer here and i am toying with the idea of constantly hopping this beer. say every 5 mins for 90minutes. using up the 230grams i have. i cant make my mind up what grains would suite this beer. i have loads of crisp ale malt, crystal, caragold, black... i want a pale beer was thinking of just using pale malt..??. i am going for around 5.4% - 5.5% ABV. any ideas on this. i was thinking or alternating the hopping like this. chinook 12 grams @ 5 minutes, columbus 12 grams @ 10 minutes etc etc.

any thoughts for or agaisnt this? will be using US05 i will be making 40litres (25 litres kegged, the rest bottled)

US IPA. 1.060+, 50IBU+. 90% Ale, 5% Crystal, 5% Caragold. Work out your continuous hopping, but keep about 1g/L back for dry-hopping. It will be skunky*, piney, hoppy and intense I reckon! I love the taste and flavour of Colombus, but some people find it too much.

*Skunky like fresh dope, not as in light-struck.

As soon as it has carbonated and has some head, anything from 4-14 days. Sometimes I start drinking a bottle a night at day 4 even if not carbonated yet, and see it come together and develop over time. Then when it's really good it's about finished.
