Had to pitch a 2nd packet of yeast. Didn't let the 1st one re-hydrate fully. School boy error I know :(
It's going like a good un now though :D

Kegged this yesterday and had a quick sample......

I must be imagining things but this is tasting a bit like Jaipur. Not as complex by any stretch of the imagination but you'd swear it was a younger little sister :)
When this improves with conditioning ( don't they all ), this will be a right little cracker :D

Only 9 days in and the slightly harsh bitterness ( from the Chinook? ) has mellowed. The flavour is now much more like a baby Jaipur, not as complex but if this continues to improve I'd be tempted to look for a local beer comp and chance my luck. Would they accept 500ml plastic coke bottles with the old label still on? :mrgreen:
