hello all going to use my flyer hops for a pale ale tommorow night. going to use the 100 grams in 23 litres should be enough hops for me. i want to use these malts to make a good pale ale,..
pale ale malt thomas fawcetts
caramalt
amber malt
any ideas if you have a good recipe using the above malts could you share it!

I`ve brewed "Deebee`s" classic ale before, a nice drop to drink, currently have another 50ltrs in the fermenter at the moment aswell.

amber flyer ale?

didnt have some of the ingridents for that........... so i come up with this its just the grain bill for now. need to sort out the flyer hops and were to but them. i though the amber malt will go with the flyer hops and there star anise flavour or am i wrong.??

I`ll be very interested to see how you get on, with your recipe alterations and the flyer hops (mouse pointer still hoovering over the buy it button on the MM site).
The thing I like about Deebees recipe + using a single hop it gives a very honest taste of that hop, nothing too overpowering + gives me a base to work on for future single hops trials / variations of hops.

Maris Otter: 85%, Caramalt 8%, Munich 7%
Hops: Perle, Hallertau (Cant remember the exact amount but the hops work well)
