Anyone have an idea on the recipe for this?
Looking to do a brew with Chequer fruit in a short while and thought this might be a good base brew to try them with.
Cheers

Badger's Poacher

Can't be arsed to keep changing this bit, so, drinking some beer and wanting to brew many more!
Sir, you are drunk! Yes madam, and you are ugly, but in the morning I shall be sober! - WSC

Commercial description: "This rich, smooth brew has a softly spiced sweetness with dark liquorice notes and a fruity damson aroma. Poachers Choice is a gutsy ruby ale that is well matched with hearty game pie or a tangy mature cheese."
I've never had Badger Poacher's Choice, but sure sounds tasty. Anyone know if it contains actual liquorice and damsons, or are they just describing reminiscent flavors?
Scuppeteer, if you're still looking for an English Strong Ale base recipe, let me know.

Re: Badger's Poacher
There was a thread about this this time last year where someone tried cloning using Sloes/damsons.
Can't remember who but it looked interesting at the time!
