Well, since I am a citizen and vote that also means I can (and will) complain. Politics aside, I will not touch a recipe unless I know the starting gravity and the expected bitterness in IBU's (neither of which was provided by Obama's minions). I suppose that is what happens when you allow the government (any government) to dabble in things as important as brewing. I am however pleased that our Comander and Chief is drinking something other than mass market swill. :D
Drinking:Saison (in bottles), Belgian Dubbel (in bottles), Oud Bruin (in bottles), Olde Ale (in bottles),
Abbey Triple (in bottles), Munich Helles, Best Bitter (TT Landlord clone), English IPA
Conditioning: Traditional bock bier, CAP
Fermenting: Munich Dunkel
Next up: Bitter (London Pride like), ESB
So many beers to make, so little time (and cold storage space)

Check it out. Didn't take long for American capitalism to catch up!

You win :) Though, to be precise I suppose the Scots get to claim Adam Smith, right?

Perhaps the bees you have over there pack a lot more fermentables in their honey :)

I found it to be a bit of a let down. The white house chef is top notch and a home brewer; I was expecting an all grain recipe.
I'm just here for the beer.
