Brewed it last night ..pushed my mash tun to the max..managed to hit 1066
I don't think this, will be a session ale....does this need dry hops.

I made 23l thats close to 6 us gallons

The recipe doesn't state them; but if it were my beer, I would probably add an ounce or two. If you keg you could always dry hop it later on if you think it needs it.alix101 wrote:....does this need dry hops.

I've got the brew in the fv gravity is down to 1016, but it tastes very sweet..having never used special B before is, this a characteristic of it .

Special B can give quite an amount of sweetness, given its a caramel malt.
FG on AB is lower than 1.016...

Brilliant link interested in the russian imperial stout but stones website states they use a abbey yeast? Not wlp002 any one tried this recipe ?
