Post by seymour » Wed Sep 26, 2012 5:58 pm

Les Howarth's Homebrewer's Recipe Database book gives the following clues. Anyone got more specifics? Percentages, times, temperatures, techniques?
OG: 1.046
Malt: Pale Malt, Roasted Barley, Cereal Adjunct
Hops: Fuggles, Yeoman, Target

Hi Seymour

There is a recipe for McEwans Export in Dave Lines book, the recipe is from 1978.
So you will need to adjust a fair bit, But I thought you might find it a useful starting point.

I would have thought there was some roast barley?

25L
3Kg Pale Malt
500g Flaked Barley
15g Black malt

500g Soft Brown Sugar

60g Hallertau hops
30g hop extract
