An interesting experiment

There's normally a a crate of Heineken knocking around here for when my in-laws visit so as a dry hops experiment I opened a bottle, popped a Target hops pellet in and recapped it. Now, a few days later I'm drinking it and I must say it's a definite improvement over normal Heineken.

Now, if I can just get rid of all the bits of pellet in there... do tea strainers still exist?

Stick loads of it in a keg dry hop using a hop bag and tell them you made it yourself!

Actually, as the supermarket is currently selling Amstel lager at 84 cents a litre its almost tempting to do something like that!

Seriously is there a problem with doing that and gassing the arse into it?

I've heard people recommend this when entertaining the lager swilling types that think carling is the pinnacle :D .
Apart from being a waste of a corny :D the only prob i can think of is oxidation, im sure somebody on here knows how to prevent that happening when kegging.

It would be a major PITA but I guess you could always syphon straight into the cornie from the bottle/can.
