Batch Size 19L

OG 1,080 FG 1.015 ABV 8.5

IBU 16 SRM 6.5

4.400 kg Pilsner Malt

0.700 kg Dex

0.450 kg Candi Sugar (Clear)

0.230 kg Crystal Malt 40

0.113 kg Aromatic Malt


Hops

30g Savinjski Goldings

10g Bobec Flame Out.

Mash 60 Mins 66c. Boil Time 90 Mins

Yeast

T58 21c

That looks a nice recipe, a lovely light golden beer. Very quaffable on a summers day. :)

Will it not be a little dark for a Blonde with all the Crystal and Aromatic?
Hardly quaffable given the 8.5ABV but it does look a very nice Belgium brew.

I'll be interested to know how this tastes given the 21C fermentation, the two recent ones I did with T-58 were done at 18C and are very Belgium beer in nature.

I have made this on three occasions and it really is a great tasting beer.
The first time I made it using WPL570 I couldn't
get hold of this for the other two so I used T58 which
I already had with very good results and IMO a
nicer flavour.
I wouldn't say the colour is dark for a blonde I will
post a pic when the latest batch is ready.
