recipe for Brodies Prime please.

Post by Redimpz » Sun May 05, 2013 10:51 am

Brodies is a truly awesome beer, it is brewed at the Hawkshead brewery in the Lake District. I have been known to drink several pints whilst visiting the area and would really appreciate a recipe to attempt to replicate the taste.
The label lists chocolate malt and the hops are:- First Gold, Fuggles, Bramling Cross and Cascade. the style is described as Porter.
Any thoughts?

A wetherspoons close to my work have had a Hawkshead tap takeover last week and I tried it for the first time. A very good porter.

Their cumbrian five hop was lovely too, hopefully they''ll still have a few casks to get through next week as I want to try some more. An excellent brewery
