Good recipe for an IPA ?

Post by daddies-beer-factory » Sun May 12, 2013 9:37 am

Hi guys,
being an IPA appreciator, I am planning my first IPA next weekend , and I found this recipe online. I have 95% of the ingredients so I think I am going to give it a go, I just wanted some opinions before I go for it - (45 L batch).

9 kg Pale Malt
0.5kg Caramel/Crystal malt
0.4kg Biscuit Malt
104g Fuggles (60 min)
100g goldings (15min)
72g Williamette (5min)

any opinions are welcome :D (I am a bit unsure on the williamette hops)

You can download beermate free and it will give you some ideas on the bitterness ratio. What is the brew length? Edit: just seen it
