Here is a challenge for you Chaps.
A friend of mine has just come back from Palestine and enjoyed a locally produced real ale called Taybeh.
He took quite a shine to it and has been trawling the web for a supplier in the UK. Unfortunately, although it is available in Germany and the States it doesn't seem to be available here.
Don't suppose anybody has heard of it, tasted it, or knows the recipe?

Re: Taybeh
I've never had it, but if you're talking about Taybeh Beer Golden, the brewer's description makes it sound like a basic, true-to-style, all-barley-malt German Kolsch/Altbier. brewed to 5% ABV. I'm sure you could get very close.

Re: Taybeh
Bump. Any luck?
Re: Taybeh
Sorry no. My brewing has unfortunately been put on hold while I refurbish and insulate my garage. The plan is to make it more suitable for brewing and storing my equipment.
My STC 1000 is due tomorrow and I'm desperately trying to win a fridge on eBay. I think I am in competition from other homebrewers because the larder fridges go for silly money while standard ones are about 15 quid.
As soon as I'm set up I will be knocking up a nice golden session beer!

Re: Taybeh
Sounds like a good plan. Best of luck!
