CaraGold is similar, super pale crystal. It's a great way to add depth of flavour without mucking your recipe up - and when you drink it expecting a pale boring body, you're often surprised!

Okay just tested this today for first time, has only been in budget barrel about 2 days (was totally see through when moving to barrel so its had conditioning time in the FV). And so far, bloody yum, Galaxy hops taste great and good news I finally have my go to recipe for pale ales, the Munich and us 05 give an amazing taste to the beer. Got some liquid and dry malt extract to try out for the next two batches but this will certainly remain my go to recipe.

Really loving my galaxy/vic secret beer as well. Need to get hold of Little Creatures pale ale as I reckon it tastes very similar. :D
Only down side is I have realised I forgot to add the protofloc as its cloudy as feck! #-o
Glad you're happy with your pale recipe, it does make a huge difference to get it spot on for your taste buds. =P~

Sounds good. I just randomly picked up some Warrior and Galaxy hops myself. Glad to hear it makes a solid Pale Ale.
