0.5 oz/14 g, Cascade, 30 min

0.5 oz/14 g, Styrian Goldings, 15 min
0.5 oz/14 g, Pilgrim, 15 min

0.5 oz/14 g, Cascade, at flame-out, allow to steep until chilled
0.5 oz/14 g, Pilgrim, at flame-out, allow to steep until chilled

0.5 oz/14 g, Cascade, dry hop for last 7 days before bottling/kegging

Amazing beer. I had Pepe Nero the other day. The finest example of a saison I've ever had. Afaik they got bought out but they still produce perfection.

GOose Island Ipa is one of my favourite IPAs

Would love to know if anyone successfully cloned it

There's a recipe for it in the Mitch Steele IPA book. Not too far off what Seymour posted above iirc.

Following on from this and using anything to hand I have this on right now:

Loose Spruce Goose 23 Litres
Extra Pale Malt 5200
Weyerman Carapils 250
Munich 500

Newport (12.8) 60 mins 25g
Cascade pellet (7.7) 30 mins 23g
Fuggle (5.6) 15 mins 23g
Fuggle (5.6) 10 mins 26g
Cascade (7.7) pellet 5 mins 30g
EKG o mins 80C steep 20 mins
EKG dry hop 7 days
ABV1058-1014
58IBU
11EBC
Yeast is US05.
What do you think? Boil on now!

Whilst this is not supposed to be a clone I think its a 'something like with what I have' brew.
