Longhorn IPA

Post by dshar » Mon Jul 07, 2014 10:48 pm

I had a great ipa last friday at a local pub watching columbia vs brasil (what a drama that was!).
Was a really great pint, everything about it was spot on, to my tastes at least.
Looking it up, its from a brewery called Purity in warwickshire, i found the notes below on ratebeer site.
Anyone come across it too? A clone recipe would be superb! In absence of that, may hazard a recipe ,myself, but not t
Much experience in doing so.

Cheers!

COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask. This new beer is a light copper colour, with a complex aroma of grapefruit, pine, peaches and predominant tropical fruits, leading to a complex, deep fruit flavour with a pronounced bitterness. Hops used: Chinook, Galaxy, Northern Brewer, Simcoe

I had this the other day, like the other Purity beers it's a nice pint. Not sure about the recipe though, hopefully someone else will help as I'd be interested to try it out.

I bought a 6 pack from the BBC good food show. It's a great drink.
