I've not used the flaked wheat so not sure. I guess so because if you use too much torrified wheat the beer tastes a bit breakfast cereally....

I think I read in the Camra - Brew European Beers at home, that flaked and torrified wheat were interchangeable.

Did I remember this correctly?
Fermenter(s): Lambic, Wheat beer, Amrillo/Cascade Beer

Holy Smokes! This beer came out nice! I'm not ashamed to admit it at all, because whenever my AG beers come out nice, I know I just got lucky! Maybe the special roast helped, or the yeast/starter. Normally I don't use a starter or any special yeast (just dry). I lucked out on this one. Nice round malty taste with a balancing dry bitterness from the hops.
