Trying out a fake lager.
Want something that looks like a fizzy tasteless lager, but is full of surprises when you taste it...
Any suggestions? Current plan (for tomorrow's brewday) is:

Final Gravity (FG): 1.010 (°P): 2.6

Colour (SRM): 3.0 (EBC): 6.0
Bitterness (IBU): 34.3 (Average)
90% Lager Malt (Crisp)
10% Munich malt
1.8 g/L Tetnang (4.1% Alpha) @ 90 Minutes (First Wort)
1.8 g/L Tetnang (4.1% Alpha) @ 15 Minutes (Boil)
1.8 g/L Sapphir (4.6% Alpha) @ 5 Minutes (Boil)
1.8 g/L Sapphir (4.6% Alpha) @ 7 Days (Dry Hop)

C'est Lagre
Re: C'est Lagre
It's underway, all tucked up and waiting for the yeastie action to start.
Smelt great, lots of hoppy smells.
Ended up switching for S04 as the WLP002 starter didn't look promising, again

Re: C'est Lagre
I think s-04 would be a slightly better choice than WLP002 anyway, in a 'fake' lager. Might be a good thing!
Busy in the Summer House Brewery
Re: C'est Lagre
Yup, I think S04 will work well in this.
I've been busy on the computer as well, this is my label... let's see how the beer turns out and whether it lives up to it!
