Christmas Quad

Post by lord.president » Fri Feb 05, 2016 3:08 pm

Hi, I'm planing on doing Randy Mosher's Christmas Quad, fro his 12 beers of Christmas. Has anyone ever made this, and what yeast did they use, thinking of WLP 530.

TIA.

Not made the recipe, but you can't go wrong using WLP530 in dark belgians IMO. I've used it in plenty of brews, and it's never let me down.

Yeah great yeast. It's explosive though, make sure you have loads of headroom or a very good blow off tube

Cheers. I'd noticed that in some of the pictures! I'd better get round to making a blow off tube..
