Use EBC or Lovibond for recipes?

I'm going to do a Dead pony club brew day and the recipe requires Crystal 150... EBC or Lovibond that's 400ish EBC is that too dark

I've got the DP just finishing the dry hop at the moment.
I used Malt Millers crystal EBC 120-140 and the colour looks just about spot on from the hydrometer samples.
