Nothing definite. If dry, maybe just US05. Go for cleaner and drier. Nottingham maybe, I did a great Porter with Nottingham, but I don't brew porters very often. If liquid, I'd try WLP006 or Wyeast 1728, I reckon they'd both work really well, of the liquid yeasts I've used.

How was the M07?

Thanks. I've wanted to try US05, good excuse.
For Black Stuff, the S04 is good to go from 2 weeks in the bottle, and whilst it improves over time, it's not a large improvement at all IMO. With M07, I found the opposite. There was a more pronounced bitterness initially/less sweetness, and I didn't enjoy it anywhere near as much. After 6-8 weeks, the flavour profiles adjusted, and I preferred it with M07.

I brewed it at a guess 5-6 times on my BIAB setup, so eager to find out how it goes in my Braumeister. New job and holiday in a few weeks is the only reason I didn't brew it today :-/

Interesting, thanks. I'll have to give M07 a go, it's now called Liberty Bell apparently. You obviously like the recipe.
