Smoked black IPA
I am toying with the idea of doing a very slightly smoked black IPA, does anyone have any experience of this and how they turn out? Are there any good recipes out there?

I did a smoked IPA last year, using 500g rauchmalz and amarillo hops. Was quite nice, like bitter Seville marmalade on burnt rye toast. (!) Don't know how other hop profiles would go with the smoke well - possibly simcoe for a burnt pineapple flavour?
