Seymour's Citra Gold hop advice

Post by paz1 » Thu Jun 23, 2016 7:41 pm

Hi All,

I am planning on brewing above tomorrow evening, but do not have magnum hops, however reading on the net, I can sub Columbus for it, which I have. However, I also have Chinook and Chinook's profile says that it has "some grapefruit" characteristics.

Which should I go for?

Many thanks.

Paresh

Chinook sounds good to me, it can only benefit it.

I made it recently using the zest of an orange and half a red grapefruit and the smell when bottling was actually making me hungry!!

Many thanks Barry.

I'll give Chinook a go.
