This is what I brewed today
5kg Maris Otter
250g Crystal 200
100g Chocolate
300g white sugar
33g Target at start of boil
Boil 90 minutes
10g Styrian Holdings flame out
OG 1047 32 IBUs
Wyeast 10098 British Ale Yeast
The choice of hops was dictated by what I had in the freezer and the recipe was inspired by Graham Wheeler's Courage Director's bitter

Re: Cardiff Bitter
It was 26 liters and tasted very good, more malty than I usually prefer. The recipe was based on GW's Courage Directors but it is so long since I've had any of that I can't tell how good a clone it was.
I've since brewed a single hop Amarillo based on the reciipe from the Greg Hughes book and then yesterday a bitter based on GW's Black Sheep clone. I'm looking forward to both of them.
