Brew needed for the weekend

Hi all

I'm open to suggestions here.

I've got a small stockpile of pale hoppy ales, one of which will be used for my brothers 25th wedding annivesary party in less than two weeks time.

I don't think he actually expected me to come through with the goods, so now I've given him a choice he's asked for one pale and one dark. Utter Git!

So I need a quick maturing darker ale that will be ready to drink on the 11th of August!!!!

I can brew up on Friday evening, but I'd prefer to have a brew morning on saturday.

I have Optic, Organic medium crystal and Pale chocolate malts in stock, and challenger, northern brewer, cascade, saaz and progress hops, nottingham and S04 yeasts.

Any ideas???

Yup, I'd guessed as much.

Whilst I am a huge fan of Mr Flacks dark mild recipe, this is the only mild I have ever attempted, so I was looking to broaden my horizons.

I'm not too bothered though, so SFDM might be given another outing
